Ski a Region, Not Just a Resort! Interlaken and the Jungfrau

Why ski just one resort when you can celebrate skiing an entire region? The Jungfrau Top Ski Region, contains more than 100 miles of ski trails above Grindelwald. There’s also a mountain railway to get you to all your ski destinations, included in a convenient ski pass. The average length of ski runs in the area is four miles. Yes, that’s right, the average ski run is an incredible four miles in length.

Interlaken shares the Jungfrau Top Ski Region with the triumvirate of Wengen, Mürren, and Grindelwald. The largest ski area is Kleine Scheidegg-Mannlichen, which spans the area between Wengen and Grindelwald. This area has some 35 marked trails, and will please the intermediate skier or boarder.

Chalet-Hotel Oberland offers guests modern and spacious rooms. Rooms are equipped with a TV, alarm-clock radio and mini-bar. The Mercato restaurant offers a wide choice of Italian specialties for lunch and dinner. The Chalet restaurant offers a choice of delicious hot meals throughout the day. Luncheon menus and a variety of a la carte dishes are served at this hotel restaurant.
